Mecobalamin is an organic compound with chemical formula C63H91CoN13O14P and endogenous vitamin B12. It exists in blood and pulp fluid. Compared with vitamin B12, Mecobalamin has a good effect on the conduction of neurons and can promote nucleic acid-protein-fat metabolism through methyl conversion reaction.
As a coenzyme of methionine synthetase, it can convert homocysteine into methionine, participate in the process of deoxyriboside synthesis of thymine, promote nucleic acid and protein synthesis, promote intra-axonal transport and axonal regeneration and myelin formation, prevent axonal degeneration and repair damaged nerve tissue.
